Information Technology (IT) is the buzz word in the business world today. Every company and every entrepreneur wants to hitch to the IT bandwagon and Noida has emerged as the HUB of IT in Northern India. It is the biggest exporter of Software Services in Northern India and second in the country. 

Noida is home to software giants such as TCS, Adobe , HCL , STG Thompson and of course hundreds of startups and mid sized software units which litter the campus of STP (Software Technology Park) and NEPZ( Noida Export Processing Zone).

Apart from the top of the line software solutions being developed at IT units in Noida there are many small units who are cutting there teeth in the highly competitive field of IT Enabled services like Medical transcription , Call centers , Data Processing and Digitization. 

Noida also has hundreds of IT Coaching Centers which are churning out IT professionals to meet the huge demands of these from the ever booming IT sector. There is also a Call Center Training Institute in Noida (One of the first of its kind in the country).

As you can see Noida is a big center for Software hence one can safely conclude that there is a big market for computer hardware too, but proximity to Delhi (Nehru Place in Delhi is the largest market of computer hardware in Asia is only 10 Min drive from STP) is a dampner on this conclusion. Still the huge local population of Noida which is cosmopolitan in nature is a big customer for the computer hardware.

Thus one can conclude that IT is a big Industry in Noida and one can safely venture into any of it.
