Noida as we know is part of the NCR (National Capital Region) of India and is only 15 Min Drive from the Central Business District of New Delhi.

In December 2000 Supreme Court of India had directed all Polluting Industries and all Non-Polluting Industries located in Non-Conforming Industrial Areas in Delhi to move out of Delhi immediately . As a measure of enforcing the directions the authorities had virtually sealed about 2000 such industrial units in Delhi.

This has resulted in 100's of units seeking relocation in Noida. Noida Authority on its part is allotting land to all those units which confirm to the bye laws of Noida to set up shop here. Thus such units can definetly plan for relocation to Noida.

This massive relocation can be a boon to Builders, Machine Manufacturers, Job Workers and all those Industrial units of Noida who had to compete with goods manufactured by unorganized units in Delhi.       

However units engaged in Electroplating, Battery Manufacturing , have a production process that requires Furnace or use of Acids are banned by both Noida and Greater Noida Authorities to set up shop here. Otherwise Noida is a friend to the troubled units seeking relocation.
